Memory Charm

An NFC Charm

The Memory Charm holds memories in the form of videos, which automatically opens when attached to a smartphone.

We designed the charm combining craft and NFC technology.

We designed the charm using the transparent material - Crystal Enamel - so the NFC chip is seen, that way the technology is part of the design.

Cooperated with Eden Perez, Ori Halperin and Helena Avraham.

What is HCI?

Human-computer interaction is a multidisciplinary field of study focusing on the design of computer technology and the interaction between humans (the users) and computers.

Breaking the glass ceiling

Aim to the ceiling to succeed

We designed and programmed a human-computer interaction using Arduino, 3D printing, Rhino and Grasshopper. The project combines gesture recognition using an accelerometer and a computer game challenging the player to break the glass ceiling.

Cooperated with Zohar Hen.

Morty Slime

Control Morty's face using a Slime

We used a Makey-Makey circuit board to connect a slim to the computer. When the user stretch the slime, it stretches Morty's face controlled by this game.

DIY Vibration Sensor

Vibration controls led and buzzer

The sensor is built using an normally-open switch - assembled by a resistor connected to an Arduino's input pin, and a coil spring connected to 5V.

The vibration forces the free ends of the coil and the resistor to touch. The closed circuit sends voltage to the Arduino, and triggers a code activating the buzzer.

2D to 3D
2D to 3D

The 3D model is designed in a way that each side of it looks like a different part of the 2D drawing, while hiding the other parts of the structure.

After printed the model, I added detailed textures with a 3D pen.

Yam Hagasha

The "Yam Yabasha" ("land, sea, air") game, where Yabasha is replaced with Hagasha (exercise submission).

We created a real-life interface - a bucket with water and Bezalel's logo - which operates the digital game using Makey-Makey and scratch.

Cooperated with Adi Amara and Itamar Libergall.
